Wow no big wind swells out there today, but the fine weather paddlers are loving the still harbour conditions in Wellington........while it lasts.
Straight out of work this morning and on the ski..............I was talked into joining the Flannery Bros. and John the Sparky for a run around to Seatoun and back............a good chance for the Think ski to take a blast with the Fenn Club. I also had one of Millennium Paddles pleiades to trial. James had a Flow Kayaks MS 1 blade so I had James try the Pleaides.............by the way the MS 1 felt good and the Pleiades just needs 1 tweak to it and it will also be as smooth as silk to paddle.
I take the trails seriously and if it's not right you have to give the manufacturers accurate feedback as 9 times out of 10 they will tweak the product if enough feedback is given from a good range of sources.
Back home for a second breakfast then off for a walk with Sharlene..........being off the water didn't last long and just after lunch Sharlene are back out there again on the Fanatic SUP's.
Here's some photos from last years winter series to wet your appetites for next week......also this guy Stevo from work............he owns this yacht right............ and today I finally see it off it's mooring and even chasing us SUPers around the Harbour even.............had
to take a photo of that one!
Keep an eye out on www.surfski.info to see the results of the 2013 Molokai Ocean Race (Sunday) they should be on there tomorrow evening (Monday NZ standard time)
