Oscar Chalupsky came home in 13th place............there were 50 finishers and a few withdrawls over the 51 km (32 mile) event.
Earlier predications for the event were that a big side on swell would meet many of the paddlers on race day, with very testing conditions on the finishing stretch and around China Wall into Oahu.
A colossal event.......too big for me, but great to follow all the same. I'm off out onto the flat harbour for a paddle in similar conditions to a K1 1000 event.
More details on Molokai to follow later..........
Back on pancake Harbour.........view from the SUP at Greta Point.......and Glenn Muirhead in his multisport kayak still not convinced he needs a surf ski........and he would go so well on a Think Uno Max if he spent more time on one! Click on any photo to enlarge.
