Double Act

Flat out busy at the moment and that includes time on the water!
Yesterday I had a paddle before lunch in a 30 kmh Northerly from Hataitai beach around to Oriental Parade and back on the Think Evo II surf ski..............nice and lumpy a nice breeze and swells to rock and roll through.

Back at Hataitai Beach then wipe the salt off the surf ski then back on the Transporter, a quick bite to eat then the Starboard Race SUP comes off the roof rack.

By the time a I get out the Southerly change that's about to come 4 hours later, starts to swing..............change of conditions, Evans Bay flattens out and I'm now heading to Point Jerningham in a 25 kmh North Westerly. A bit of a mission in some spots but all it requires is a bit of tacking running at 45 degrees off the wind and waves and we're all good.

Arrived at Point Jerningham then it's all downwind from here nice easy paddle back enjoying the breeze on my back and following swell.

Coming up Travel to Paddle (read previous post) this Sunday morning and Surf ski Demo evening on Tuesday evening. (surf ski demo flyer right hand side of this page)
