Sharlene and I had a great paddle this evening.............once I'd escaped work for the day..............it was just awesome getting out on the water. A very light warm southerly, and for a change we set off from the Marina at the bottom of Cobham Drive.
We headed over to the airport then paddled under Miramar Wharf then along past Burnham Wharf to check out Shelly Bay coastal road.
Boards used...............Sharlene was on her
Fanatic Ray and myself on the
Starboard K15, on the way back we had a switch around so Sharlene could enjoy the twitchyness of the slightly narrower K15 and the 2ft 6 inches of extra glide.
This week we will see more of the same weather we've had over the last 2 days so no doubt we'll both be doing some extra sup paddling this week.
Also along with this spell of less windy weather we might see the Tuesday Twlight Series heading around the fountain and back!.........a good little 7 km paddle.
