No grid lock traffic here

Yes it was raining, and a 35 - 45 kmh gusting Southerly this afternoon but Firefighters aren't supposed to be scared of water.
I had the Harbour to myself again, mind you I was on the water at 3pm while most were at work still........... no grid lock when you have the whole harbour to yourself to paddle around.
The Uno max was the surf ski of choice today and I paddled around the shoreline giving all the friendly fishermen a wide berth, though struck all the friendly one's today :-)
I parked up on Oriental Parade and launched off the beach in front of the less than busy Surf Life guards, no sunbathing in the rain...............on the flip side the rain is great for the lawns and gardens. Currently our Regional reservoir is down to 50% capacity with earthquake strengthening being carried out on the second storage lake (Twin Lakes) at Te Marua.

Anyhow did an upwind run up to Evans Bay to test the balance against the backwash of the seawalls, went up to Niwa and ran the downwind back to Oriental Parade again. A good 60 minute session and like any tippy craft the more time spent on it, the more your balance improves.

Shout out to Sharlene..........tomorrow.......... it's your Birthday _ _  years young........... Date night my shout!
