Rangitikei River Race....and other events

For any one after a gauge on their kayaking progress leading up to the World Famous Coast to Coast multisport event......here is the puppy for you.

The Rangitikei River Race has been running for somewhere over 10 years now and was the brainchild of one of the North Islanders slickest multsiporters.....Peter O'Sullivan who is currently overseas... so he's placed the event in the capable hands of another local paddling legend....Anne Cairns..... and the Palmerston North Canoe Club.

Now I know a Wellingtonians by the bucket full are running the river every 2nd weekend...but hey here's a chance to meet ton's of your like minded mates.......join in for the event....paddle it at what ever pace you like.....and hey they have a shuttle bus and everything...what more can you ask for ?

So get your butts to the Rangtikei River....on January 11.....if you have two usable arms (unlike myself currently) you can paddle at !
