What's this?

The latest batch of surf skis have arrived in the Country by container.....and we have our long awaited stand up boards that came down from Auckland late last night.

We sold our boards over the last 8 months or so and some of our surf skis are slowly being turned over so we can expose paddlers to the very latest shapes and colours.

Our motto is how can you make an informed decision on buying something if you can see, feel or try it out first? If we are helping you to make the best decision first time up.......(rather than buying 4 pieces of equipment to finally get the one that suits you)....then we can save everyone value time and also money (which doesn't grow on trees as we all know !)

The Trailer was absolutely chocka block last night with surf skis for the South Island and also Fergs Kayaks in Wellington.....so next week the reminder of our skis will hit Wellington.

On the event front a few people turned up for the Twilight Kayaking on Tuesday which was cancelled....but since I was there and 5 people were keen I set a course and timed everyone and took some photos as well. The course was a little tough down near the Coastguard so it was an awesome effort that everyone took up the challenge here......though next time we will not make it as tough again....as it's all about encouraging people rather than encouraging. Hat's off to everyone for sticking with it you all did an awesome job.

Tuesday Dec 16 and Tuesday Dec 23...I'll be down there again...with better weather and a positively set course for all skill levels.......remember they start at 6.30pm

Thursday Welly Paddlers "Paddling Connections" continues from the same place (Hataitai Beach) staring from 5.30pm...these are just about running laps with kayaks, surf skis, stand up paddlers and waka ama.... just join in the loop whenever you get there.

We have one tomorrow night Dec 11.... then the last one Dec 18 after wards we'll head over to the Hataitai food precinct...and chow down at Burger Fuel.....healthy stuff there like kumara chips gluten free etc, etc

In the meantime don't work too hard leading up to Christmas, wind it down a few clicks...and don't forget buy your wife, husband or partner something nice for Christmas (and get in now before you forget)...they in turn may surprise you with the paddling craft that you've been after for yonks.....or give you the approval to buy something at the very least !
