Currently in Levin on a halfway stop to the CRNZ 10km event in Wanganui. Sorry no photos, I'm on Sharlene's Mum's laptop that doesn't quite fit one of my oddball SD cards.
Anyhow I've just constructed the new rack system for the van. It takes 5 surf skis currently with a full loading across the top of 6 skis......I can also take 5 skis and a SUP board......which many will be pleased to hear :-)
The Van is getting it's first open road test run with my Evo II Ultimate, Eze performance and Big Eze performance.
A couple of really important things to note when heading down this track. The manufacturers recommended carrying capacity for this rack system........and the spacing of the racks.
Other considerations are length the surf ski, kayaks or waka ama protude out the back....... and the width out over the side of the vehicle. Each protrusion may require a flag during the day and lights are required at night.
All very technical......but get everything right and you shouldn't get busted by the Cops.
