Excited about paddling on Sunday?

The weather forecast looks very challenging.

I think the announcement tomorrow morning on the venue is going to go right down to the wire.

If you are travelling over the Rimutakas with a single or double Waka Ama.............don't do it! Actually from many places where you get gusty conditions while travelling think very carefully.

We do have some sheltered areas to hold courses close to the
shorelines........Petone by the Wellington Waterski Club through the Honiana Te Puni Reserve is one option and Hataitai Beach and the other option is at the Rowing Club at Onepoto on the Porirua Harbour.

We will choose the option where it is realively warm and that you
can safely load and unload your craft and place down easily in the wind......looking after our gear is so important.

Tomorrow at 9.45am we will have the final update and a clearer picture of which venue and courses we'll be using.
Don't be fooled by the weather we can still shape a safe interesting multi lap course in, that is easy to manage for both the Organisers and you the Paddlers.

Big Thanks to Swazi for their Sponsorship of one top for every event........no mucking around at the Cold Kiwi Series the spot prize will be drawn before the Event briefing!

See more of all the the craft shown here, on Sunday.
