The Forecast for Sundays "Motorway Classic" is looking solid....Fresh Northerlies generally around 30kmh to 39 kmh and about 19 degrees.
The venue is out of most of the wind so it should get fairly warm at Petone against the Hillside boardering Motorway providing plenty of shelter.
The 13 km main course down to the Interislander will likely provide some excellent downwind paddling and tucked close to the shoreline back to the finish we some times get a circling breeze which pushes paddlers to the finish on some sections. The stand up paddle boarders and short course sit down paddlers will have a nice tight course around the start finish venue, distances 2.5 km and 5 km.
Get there early, b.y.o. picnic it's going to be a cracker of a day in Welly!
