Final update for "The Motorway Classic"

Tomorrow we are looking at a North Westerly of 30 kmh to 39 kmh wind strength that's a pretty good result.

Yesterday I paddled the course to place the buoy at the half way point for the long course. I had a Northerly of 30 kmh to 39 kmh and managed to get to the reclamation (with the weighted buoy) in 30 minutes with the tail breeze and took my time on the way back for the 40
minute return journey into the breeze.

We will be down there from 8 am tomorrow and I'll be setting the buoys for the short course chute and start finish and also the short course turn points. The registration will be at the blue Welly Paddlers gazebo in the car park.
When you un load your waka, kayaks, and SUP's please place them in the staging area on the grass around the Wellington Water Ski club. For W6's you may park these in front of the Gazebo at the water's edge. Please keep the area around the boat ramp and North of this clear for ramp and water skiers.

Read the event flyer on the right hand side of the page....and everyone entering must be at the briefing at 9.50 am!

Again Registration Closes at 9.45 am no exceptions!

Rough Schedule:
SUPs finish 10.35am -10.55am
