Mutual appreciation

Just cleared a surprise package from our Post Box yesterday, that came courtesy of Think kayak HQ.......a couple of samples of what they're wearing in the Northern Hemisphere at the moment.....cheers Daryl.

Think HQ have an online shop through their website http://thinkkayak.com/ remember you can send your gear to the NZ Post sending centre in the United States. Think Kayaks sending centre is in Blaine,WA,USA....about hour from Vancouver.

You can also go to Stews online shop in Sydney.

I'm not exactly playing water boy at the moment, I haven't been on the water for 10 days, just still shaking a knarly head/chest cold not feeling as contagious as I was earlier in the week so looking forward to returning to work this weekend then out on the water again early next week.

Every now and again we change the header photo on our page, it's a tricky job sometimes getting the right elongated sized image to fit the space, so thanks to Sharlene for again pulling a rabbit out of the hat every know and again. We tend to sit
down and work out camera angles and positioning to make any future shots better. One of the main reasons I position the courses I do is so we get the best possible images to present. There's nothing worse than going to an event and people saying that was a fantastic course, then you look at the photos you don't have of it and you have to say well it's hard to market that course to others.........great event no images, just a story like the one that got away.......it's all about positioning well from the shoreline.

In two days time..... what's coming up on the water on the Wellington kayak scene.

It won't be long and I'll be back on the water again so here's a sample of my last few paddles just to jog my memory of what it's like to be out there :-)
