SET one

 

Hey thanks people for being foundation paddlers of the very first surf ski and SUP set.

Carl & son, Ruth & Pinot, Chas, Sharlene, Pegs, Lisa, John, Ned, Howie, Katie on SUP's and Chester on a ski. Since Sharlene is on the water I get to be official random photographer.... and being on the ski it was quite easy to scoot around everyone. As usual I did more talking then taking holiday snaps...........nothing new there. I missed my mate from the Movie Industry tonight he must have had a big shoot on.

Good starter for ten with the numbers first up. We were a bit late starting, I think we ended up kicking off at 6 pm it's the usual story getting stuck in traffic.

If you can escape from work early especially on the really fine days that would be cool......... especially if we start on Oriental Parade as it gets extremely difficult to find a park................of course start work early to make up time, if you've got a tough Boss.

The northerly was true to form and it clocked in at 30 kmh a good bit of late afternoon sun and plenty of chatting out on the water.

The aim of these activities is get everyone out on the water communicating and sharing information about the various paddling activities, also we can all pass on good paddling tips to each other.

Since tonight was so well supported well keep the momentum going and run them every week through to Dec 20.

In the New Year we'd like some else to program some other events in........... so get your thinking caps on and post some dates...............less talk more action as they say.
