No mucking around we have people that travel from outside of the Wellington Area, they leave early to get here and get back home later than we do so please get organised.................be organised for them.
Courses:
Foreshore around (Matiu) Somes Island and back 8.2 km
For Stand Up Paddle board: Foreshore to 750 metre buoy offshore back to shore x 2 laps
Entry Fee:
$5 singles
$8 doubles
$12 O.C.6's
Spot prizes drawn as soon as everyone has their boats back on their vehicles.
Please ask around there are about 8 to 10 people from the wellypaddlers Series doing Trans Taupo this year............... those who want to carry on paddling after the race to clock up some extra on water time go ahead we will hold all spot prizes that are drawn out.............we do this every race, you pay, you race, you get the reward.

I've been supporting all the racing here in Wellington for the last 6 months and also travelling down to Nelson to Support their Surf ski Series............................. the Welly Paddlers races are the best races I've been participating in as far as support by the paddling community, the best racing, the best communicators and best value for money............and my favourite who else updates their website and gives paddlers results and photos within 24 hours of the race................We do.
