Help the Comerfords

The Comerford Family from Upper Hutt have being strong supporters of paddling in our community over the years and have a real challenge on their hands.
Brendan has been undergoing treatment for Cancer for the last 6 months and now their youngest son Jacob is in hospital undergoing a number of operations for a brain tumour. If that's not enough the whole Family are in Christchurch where the best Specialists in the Country are tending to Jacob who is only 3 years old.
Brendan has been off work for some time and the move to Christchurch means Raukawa is unable to work......so money is not exactly going to fall out of the sky in situations like these.

There is a "give a little" facebook page where many of us have donated money https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/helpthecomerfords

The community are rallying around looking after the Comerford house while they are away and Steve Kenny https://www.facebook.com/stephenaranakenny?fref=ts has come up with this event above to fundraise and bring paddlers even closer together

If you're not at the Crazyman multisport event this Sunday May 3.......get out there and support the "Mates Paddle for Life" Fundraiser....and support what Steve Kenny has put together in a short space of time.
