Welly Paddlers in conjunction with Fergs Kayaks will be organising our second Surf ski demo session for the Season in about two weeks time..........once we've confirmed the date.
You can expect to Demo some of Think Kayaks and Epic Kayaks current NZ stocks.
We are aiming to get the Uno Max, Evo II and maybe an Eze along from the Think range and the V10L, V10 sport from the Epic range.
At this time of the year the surf ski stocks tend to be somewhat depleted............so this year we'll be publicising pre orders so that some of us don't miss out on the skis we'd like this coming Season............bearing in mind that some models and constructions don't make it into the Country in enough sufficient stocks.

Downwinder THREE
The last one is on this weekend........ and we have an interesting situation with many Eastern Suburbs road closures with the "Round the Bays" fun run and half marathon on. This is going to take out 3/4 of our preferred venues out of play...........just as well we've got some extra Coastline to play with, so I'm charting out some other courses and watching the weather with greater interest.
I'll update every day this week so you get a better idea how the planning is going.
Don't forget that a few hundred dollars worth of spot prizes are up for grabs at Downwinder THREE and from there we may have news of events, others are going to put on............our last event for the summer is on April 15 "The Motorway Race" Petone - Interislander- Petone (13km) with a 3km, 6 km or 13 km SUP course options.
It's not all work and no play, can't wait till I knock off work tonight, then out on the water for a quiet SUP ..............on one of the surf skis the following evening.
