Hey just been out paddling with Kristin Percy from the newly formed NZ Stand Up Paddling Association www.facebook.com/NZStandUpPaddling.
We had a "board meeting" paddling and talking about the AGM in Auckland over the weekend....... like many new set ups a few teething problems and plenty of communication to work on.
All and all the Association will be a big Positive once everyone takes the time to understand the processes and how easy things can change from one AGM to the next...............like anything nothing is set in concrete and it will all grow quite organically.............. meaning everything will fall nicely into place over the next 12 months I'm sure.
Annabel Anderson is staying with Kristen at the moment and it appears Annabel may well be available to come to Wellington for a Group Coaching session sometime before April, then she heads over for her 2013 Northern Hemisphere campaign.
If you are interested in having Annabel running a "Masterclass Paddling session" here in Wellington........ contact me so we can work out if this is feasible...............or not.
Hey good work you guys who went to Downwinder THREE at Seatoun you made the news........just goggle "City Life Cook Strait news" (page 16)and check out the online article and photo.
Other than that the day continues on and I'll be down at Hataitai Beach from 5 pm through to 7.45 pm to run the surf ski demos for Fergs Kayaks and the Think Kayaks International Brand.
We are also supporting the Kupe Canoe Club Twilight event and we will be taking a 45 minute break to tear around the course they set for the night............bring your own paddle and of course you own craft for the Kupe Twlight event.
