Ooouuch thick ear from Sharlene..........Just watched Annabel Anderson on 3 News at the SUP Nationals..............looking good in the bikini...............oouuch just got clipped on the other ear.
Good wrap for Stand Up Paddle Board and wow good to see a minority sport on the news.
Today was our big day out with the "Travel to Paddle" trip, just Sharlene an I for the full journey today so a good bit of Family time. We were joined on the first leg up Evans Bay by "Movie Guy" who is getting some exercise before a 3 week shoot tomorrow. Movie Guy says he loves my rants, especially the one I wrote yesterday...........ha ha they are aimed at a very small target audience who more than likely don't read this blog.
Anyhow after 2 kms Movie Guy headed back downwind and we again able to get some sun again after his huge frame had shaded us from much of the sun up Evans Bay............don't blame me Ruckus put me up to that one. :-)
Back to the journey of the day we headed down to the bottom of Cobham Drive along past the wind sculptures then downwind to Shelly Bay for a packed picnic lunch!
20 minute stop then across the swells to Balaena Bay then back around the corner to Oriental Parade again.
Distance 10.5 kms............ 3 hours 15 on the water cruising.
Conditions at the start 15 kmh southerly gusting to 20 kmh with 20 kmh gusting to 25 kmh from Shelly Bay to the finish. At the finish we caught up with Katie "The Teacher" and sat by the sea wall, ate our fruit and gelato...........primo!
