Thanks to Fergs Kayaks http://www.fergskayaks.co.nz/ for again supplying me with the Think Evo II this Season. I'm very pleased to have another ski in Kevlar, which is a lot more forgiving than a Carbon one, and that it weighs in at 12.5kg.
I joined the Jantex Gamma blades onto the Rochfort crankshaft the other day, using a glue stick and heat gun (which is how all the Jantex paddles are assembled) meant the job was done in about 5 minutes. Thanks to Terry at i paddle (Auckland) http://www.ipaddle.co.nz/ for supplying the blades and Shane at Rochort Paddles - River Sticks Ltd (Rotorua) http://www.paddle.co.nz/ for supplying the crankshaft. The crankshafts were designed to be more ergonomic and lesson repetitive strain injuries that I've had over the last few years.
Photos of the above are on a slideshow the right hand and links to the above businesses are on the website links on the left hand side of the page. Also in the slideshow are the fleet of scooters in our household. Sharlene has the bike on the left Piaggio NRG 50 and mine is the black one Aprilia SR50R Factory (injected) with the Aprilia SR50 (carburetted) in the background for sale, http://www.scooterazzi.co.nz/ are our Scooter people here in Wellington.
