Cold Kiwi Series Event Plan for tomorrow

The forecast for tomorrow is for a 25 kmh - 40 kmh North Westerly around the time frame of the event.....though we may have more shelter along the foreshore than the forecast indicates

We have also have a high tide at 8.35 am.

Our Venue will be "The Giant Oars" on the Petone Esplanade at the end of Cuba Street.

Registration : from 8 am
briefing : at 9.35 am

Start : 9.45

There's a large parking area west of the Oars.....also a Coffee Cart and Toilets all within 200 metres of our registration Event Area.

One of the local Rowing Clubs is holding an event so we won't be heading down to the Petone Wharf or Motorway end of the Esplanade....keep clear of this area please.

Everyone has a choice of a short course or long course option.

From this point forward :

PFD's are required 1 for every paddler on every craft - we would like everyone to wear them please

There will be Events Rules for all our Events.....every paddler will be required to read them at registration.
