Wellington Paddlers around the traps

There are has been a wave of enthusiasm with paddlers who I see regularly...... also being seen on the result sheets at events in Tauranga, Foxton, Auckland, Dunedin and Cambridge.

A couple of months back Brodie McGregor and Stu Hiddleston of Capital Paddlers were up at a Mount Maunganui event being hosted by East Coast Paddlers at one of their SUP events.......view their page here https://www.facebook.com/capitalpaddlers

Mike Tate and Brian Grace were thrashing it out at the Wanganui round of the CRNZ KK 10 km champs. Brodie McGregor and Hans Wannemacher have been up to Auckland few times for their winter SUP series based around Fergs Kayaks in Okahu Bay.

Karl Timu slid on up to Hamilton (while we were in Dunedin) to do the annual 24km Cambridge to
Hamilton River race. Karl has been a real dynamo over the winter posting several of his paddles and photos on his facebook page and supporting every event of the local winter series.
Karl won the W1 (waka ama single) section of 17km Foxton Loop race and also won the W1 in the Cambridge to Hamilton in 1 hour 59 mins 43 seconds, awesome work Karl.

Last but not least carving it up on the upwind leg and keeping nice and warm in the Adrenalin thermals..........though I have the more expensive Vaikobi gear it is really not warm enough in (some of) the chilly New Zealand winter conditions. So if you want warmth and also a fantastic price point go and get your Adrenalin gear from Fergs Kayaks.............trust me you won't regret the purchase of a long sleeve top and long sleeve pants for all your winter or cold climate paddling.
