More from Dunedin

Contrary to the throw away comment of the weather dishing up a cup of shit soup.... you can actually see from photos on the last post that it didn't look that bad.........and if you have the appropriate clothing and a nice warm PFD as we did.......we're all as happy as sand boys (and girls).

A few extra photos of stunning way points and bays.......again with hardened paddlers and the local Surf Life Saving clubbies in two
IRB's.

It has to be noted that there aren't too many areas around the Country where people run a winter Series for a range of craft.........and in Dunedin they've been doing this for 25 years.

Great work Brendan, Allan and Morris, keep it up and may the support for what you're doing continue to improve from not only the local kayak and Outrigger Canoe Clubs but also from surf life saving clubs and also from some of us from further afield as well.

For every paddler don't forget to wear good quality warm clothing booties and a PFD and leg leashes all this gear is very appropariate on our Harbours in the winter and you'll also be keeping the Harbour
Master very happy and off our backs if we getinto a spot of bother.

Here's some more photos from yesterday courtesy of Sharlene. The last image is official handing over of my spot prize (Geoff Laferty and myself) voucher sponsored by Watercooled which is on the waterfront very close to the Central City. Thanks to Tony Limburg, the owner of Watercooled for supporting the local scene in Dunedin.
