Royal Visit to Welly

Today is just smashing dynamite weather out today, its like a typical warm sunny southerly that we get in Wellington in the summer, with stuff all breeze.

I'm going out on the SUP to check out the opening of the new high dive tower down near Te Papa apparently Prince Charles and his Mrs, Camilla are officially opening this new play toy on the waterfront............... it's been put there to stop the ratbags diving off one of the wharf bridges nearby................shame on youse fellas who used to dangerously entertain us all.

The new dive prop probably cost moon rocks to build but at least it's safe, and our rates money has been put to good use :-)

The Starboard SUP (yes shameless advertising yet again) and Corey Hoggs SUP paddle are going to get a good workout.

The weather is looking to hold for tomorrow afternoons demo session at the Lagoon from 4 pm - 6.30 pm........................ then BBQ at Fergs Kayaks after along with demo day specials.

Remember there's also the Group Coaching Session tonight with NZ Kayaking Royalty................. in the form of 4 times Olympic Gold Medalist Ian Ferguson at Kupe Canoe Club in Evans Bay........this runs from 5.45pm through to approx 7.45pm................no need to bow or kurtsy here............just bring $50 per person for the Coaching fee.
