We first held this event in 2018....December 16 to be exact.
This year we are running it a day earlier ;-) on December 15 !
Start time is 9 am which enables everyone to sneak out ahead of the bulk of the weekend traffic
It's open to any ladies who paddle a kayak, waka ama, surf ski or stand up paddle board.
Some may like to push themselves and give the distances a good nudge....others may wish to see how much talking they can do while paddling 3.5 km or 7 km amongst good female company.
Yes "Girls only" is non PC to some however the aim is to bring as many female paddlers together at once in an environment that put's them on the centre stage ahead of every other distraction in life.
The courses on the day are being choosen by Sharlene who will be paddling..... and everything around the event will have a strong female influence to include everyone.
