The Forecast for Sunday is for South Easterly breezes but the direction of the breezes is like a spinning arrow on one of those old school board games on one weather site.....but in a nutshell it's going to fast and flat with a very slight ripple on the water.

Spot Prize giving Starts: Between 12.45 pm & 1 pm
Tides: Low Tide 6.58 am.......High Tide 12.59 pm
Toilet Facilties:
Primary: Entrance to Honiana Te Puni Reserve turn left they are by the carpark there......if you get stuck while at the venue remember it's a 500 metre walk to this toilet block
Secondary: 40 metres from "The Flying Bean" coffee cart on the Esplanade by Beach Street

The Flying Bean as mentioned above...support them well and they could be on location at our event next year !
Picnic Lunch :
Consider packing a picnic lunch or drinks & snacks and relax and eat after the prizegiving.

Flow Kayaks we have invited Neil Taylor from Nelson along with a range of Flow Kayaks surf skis and kayaks
Waka Ama an opportunity exists for others to try a waka ama providing their are people and craft around keen to do this
Finally
Buoyancy vests, leg leashes, spray decks and any other safety equipment appropriate to your craft are a requirement of entry to this event. Please follow instructions from "The Event Manager"
Sharlene, Laurelle, Liz Ruatoto and Chester will be at Registration
Any Queries at the event bring them up at the Briefing or ask Chester any time.
Start sequence will be: by Airhorn
There are 3 start times: 3km then 13 km then 6km
2 hoots.... 2 minutes to start
1 hoot..... 1 minute to start
Micro Phone...... "10 seconds to go"
Horn continuous sounding.....is the GO.
