It's going to be huge as there's big following of people on the Kapiti Coast and they have a great local sponsor...some mates are designing shirts and also pulling extra people in on the day......Shaz and I will be there with our SUP's...the day before we are both in Wanganui doing the Whanganui River Challenge.....so it's going to be a great weekend of watersports.
We've got the "Paddling Connections" again this Thursday two session times...4.30 pm and 6 pm I'll be out on the SUP and surf ski at those sessions and Shaz will be out on her ski and will have a spin on the SUP also.
The regular Twilight Kayak events start on Tuesday October 21 and finish on December 9...that's there if anyone's keen....if you're not a member of the Kupe or Mana Kayak clubs (they're free if you're a member)...cough up ur 5 bucks every week.
The first of the Welly Paddlers down winders is on Saturday October 18 it's a shorty Plimmerton Boating Club to Whitireia...open to Sea Kayaks, Waka Ama and surf skis and adventure racing doubles.
The next day Sunday October 19 is Capital Paddlers Beach Series fundraising event at South Beach, Plimmerton all entry money goes to the Mana Coastguard.
Plenty to keep people out of trouble....view ours and also other Clubs websites and the likes of www.sportzhub.com for more events.
