Push Play in Evans Bay

One of the old adages in New Zealand to get more Kiwis active was the push play 30 minutes of exercise a day campaign.

Well I've overfilled my quoter again today..............but before that I'll rewind so you don't think I live too much of a life of leisure or recreation for that matter.

Night shift last night at the Firehouse, vacuuming, mowing the lawns, supermarket shopping (now the best bit) out for a stand up paddle in a 25 to 35 kmh Northerly (both upwind and downwind) back
back home wash gear do some washing refuel the body, now back
to work for another night shift.

Yesterday was probably a better day for a stand up paddle.........but it was flat, and hey where's the challenge in that!

Counting down...........24 days to go till the first Welly Paddlers Winter Series event for 2013..... so if you love your waka ama, SUP, surf ski or kayak we'll see you there. First event is in Wellington City check
the flyer on the right hand side of this page and view www.hoetonga.co.nz and www.wellypaddlers.blogspot.co.nz as the final venue is announced 24 hours prior to each event.

The SIX event Series is bought to you by Joern, Turi, Chris, Sharlene and Chester.

If you'd like to get yourself a nice looking Fanatic SUP board go and see Dave at Wild Winds on Customhouse Quay in Wellington.

Too cold for paddling.... Fergs Kayaks have some nice warm Adrenalin pants and tops in stock...........they also sell the Think Kayaks range of surf skis as well :-)
