The surf ski and SUP demos are just over a week away now.
Thursday November 15 at Frank Kitts Lagoon on the Wellington Waterfront from 4 pm - 6.30 pm
Epic Kayaks:
V12 , V10L , V10 Sport and V8
Think Kayaks:
Uno Max, Evo II, Eze and Think XO SUP
SUP's from the Fergs Kayaks hire fleet and you may find the odd Starboard and Fanatic SUP there as well.
We are required to have a Safety Management Plan for this location and this has been sent to the Wellington City Council, effectively all paddlers on any craft associated with this activity must wear a PFD and also a leg leash, no exceptions.
Running the demos we will have Ian Ferguson (surf skis) Felipe Alonso Dos Santos Fergs (Auckland) who is a SUP instructer and we also may have Nick from Fergs Wellington along with Chester Burt and Sharlene Winiata.
At around 6.30 pm there will be a BBQ at Fergs Kayaks Wellington shop where there will be demo day discounts 10% on general stock (some exceptions apply) and if you purchase or make a deposit on a surf ski you'll get a free Think Kayaks buoyancy vest.
