The Motorway Classic incentives and best times

Less than 1 week to go and the forecast is looking nice and peachy with a 20 kmh - 30 kmh Northerly, which will offer plenty of shelter close to the shoreline and great downwind a little further out.

This year we have some incentives to encourage clubs to support the Event and gain some money back from this support. $500 will go to the club that provides the best paddler support based off the formula off the Event detail here - https://www.facebook.com/events/2248925938763365/

If we break the threshold of 180 paddlers...... the 2nd best club will receive $300 and the 3rd best attended club will receive $200.

If you would like to create a strategic advantage to get a discount on a "Think Kayak" surf ski upgrade for yourself or a friend.....you can enter your club as "Welly Paddlers".
If Welly Paddlers numbers exceeds those of any of the kayak, waka ama or surf ski clubs then you will go into the draw of those paddlers who listed Welly Paddlers......then Kayak HQ will also give a $500 discount on top of this to total $1000......the winning person drawn can either pocket the first $500 or donate it to a charity of their choice....then gift the $500 Kayak HQ / Think Kayak voucher to a friend. This offer has a deadline of May 30 - 2019.
To be a Welly Paddler you only need to have been supporting our events over the last 16 years which means you may also be from another centre other than Wellington.
