Final Cold Kiwi Series event for the Season

The winter has flown by and the Cold Kiwi Series is on a 6 day count down to the last event of the Season. We're hoping to kick into spring with style will get a good taste of spring weather this Sunday with the weather Gods delivering us a stunning day to complete a great series.

Dolly Vardon Park, Mana will be the venue again, just as it was for event THREE, and we'll be looking closely at how we can get the best course possible so I'll recheck the maps and look at some suitable course options.

At this early stage fine weather a 20 kmh North Westerly and a temperature of around 12 degrees C looks set to great us.
High tide will also be at 10.24 am.

During the week I'll be out buying all the spot prizes, taking in to account the accumulation of the past 5 events entry fees, the prizes we've given out already as well as a possible turnout of 50 - 60 paddlers on Sunday.

Please note :

All paddlers must register with Sharlene prior to the briefing.....part of our safety plan is that every paddler who starts the event.....also finishes the event.

All paddlers must also wear a buoyancy vest

Start will be at 9.45 am
briefing at 9.35 am

The prizegiving will be held 10 minutes after the last paddler finishes....we anticipate this will be around 10.15 am - 10.30 am.

I'll post another update on Wednesday......with the final venue and weather update being this Saturday morning at 10 am.

And Finally a big thanks to Fergs Kayaks for being the main supplier of some great spot prizes through the series.
