The weather Gods are well and truly smiling down on us for this one !
The picnic tables at the Wellington Waterski Club is where the registration will take place........ the area in front is where the briefing will be held at 9.45 am
Above the Craft staging area here..... to the right of registration.....is where we'd like everyone to place there craft....it will save tripping over craft on the small beach area and grass is much kinder on your gear than the stones are.
Please keep the boat ramp area free for other members of the public / motorboat users who may be launching craft.
Sean Rice is in the City he's out on the water a couple of times a day.
I know from back in 2010 the "Worlds Crew" W6 Men's crew peeled down the Motorway and back in an impressive 59 mins flat ! It will be interesting to see if Sean will match or better this time. We've previously 62 mins 46 secs he was chased hard that day by Rob Nichol.
We have past World Champions and current World ranked waka ama paddlers on the water as well as world ranked and up and coming kayak paddlers on the water.....Stand up paddlers there are agood number of talented paddlers out on the water also and a good number who just love recreational stand up paddle boarding.
This events all about all paddlers young and older........ fitness and recreational paddlers..... and bringing people together......connection all the paddling communities essentially.
There are still a few spots left on the Sean Rice Clinics info@yourpaddlelife.com $75 for 2.5 - 3 hours.....the Sunday Clinic is from 2 pm to 5 pm.
