Cold Kiwi Series Event TWO at Pauatahunui/Porirua Harbour

Hey sorry about the course today it was a little too challenging with the bash back into the head wind on the
homeward leg. What we didn't get was a flip in wind angle, we had a North Easterly instead of a Northerly or North Westerly which meant (as it stayed NE) we should have run the course down the Eastern side of Porirua Harbour......not the western side. Add to the fact that the wind didn't stay at 25kmh gusting to 35 kmh.....we ended up with 30 kmh gusting to 45 kmh.

Start/Finish location was not sheltered at DV Park in the cold NE either.......and last but not least I was a bit doo dally with the briefing and especially the start it wasn't as co-ordinated as it should be......so we do make mistakes, but you won't get the same mistake occurring twice.

Not trying to be perfect just letting everyone know we make improvements and adjustments as we know

and feel when things don't click.......and don't mind paddlers querying some in-actions, every know and again.
