The big winds didn't eventuate but the odd shower and some shifts in the breeze provided some variety in the conditions today good to see so many venturing out and get amongst the varied weather conditions today.
A very even spread of Sea Kayaks, Waka Ama Mulitisport kayaks and Surf skis on the water also.
Thanks to Eric Barber and Doug Aplin for rallying up all the boys from the Wairarapa, John, Stan and Laurence, thanks for making the trip over and hope you enjoyed some more paddling around Eastbourne later in the afternoon.
Welcome back Leon from Hong Kong. Leon has done a few of the World Surf ski Series races in Mauritius and Hong Kong over the last few years and also races Vaa (Waka Ama ) as well.................. and Kyle Christensen (ex Blenheim and Marlborough Multisports Club) who is back from overseas and has now settled in Wellington.
